Does anyone know the source of this screen?

My Location
Blackburn, Lancashire
My Win 11 lappy sometimes tells me it cannot access my profile and goes into local mode, sometimes it goes into this screen which can take four or five minutes to do whatever it is doing, I am unable to identify the process taking place and what program is actually running to produce this screen. Can anyone enlighten me

I've only got W10 on mine, but that looks like a Windows screen.

Do you have a Microsoft account. If so you need to sign in. If not load the Task Manager (ctrl-alt-del) and end the task. If all else fails just press the power switch or pull the plug.
 
Or don't sign in at all. Read about the pros and cons of signing in HERE and how to get around it.

All well and good, but there are the odd occasions where a Windows OS is needed, and Wine emulation on a Linux OS just doesn't cut it. It happens
& I use Linux Mint as a daily driver.

I used Linux for over ten years however you cannot do everything you want to with Linux and whilst it may have improved since I stopped using it, I did not like the update procedures for the flavours I tried out.

Agreed and I used to use mint but no longer bother.

I am always signed into my microsoft account when using Windows, if I do as you suggest I just get a new local version and whilst my programs are there, none of my personal files are available to use.
