Batteries are often missing, because overseas shipping does not allow them to be included.

For a two year old design I am surprised the database is very out of date.
Why no satellites west of the Greenwich meridian ?
 
Arrived, having a play, is the RAMF options manual anywhere to dl (English)
 
Struggling to work this , beena while since I manually scanned and set transponder,
Example 28.2 Astra Sky UK or in the database so added it , but only finding 3: transponders

I'll get it eventually but any notice you can be watching a channel and the box goes back to the menu set-up

Pretty sure it needs to be in the menu set-up screen for the app to work. The same happens with mine but only when I am fiddling with the RAMF app.
 
I'm studying this unit little by little, during free time and I can say that the RAMF software is very interesting but the STB is a Chinese simple unit (DDR2 Ram, slow CPU, satellite list for only 64 positions)......it's like a Ferrari inside a small citiycar. I thought it was much better. The app on the phone let me see and record a lot of analysis data and values (that's great !!!). But the unit has a bit of problems: several channels have video freezes every 1 second (randomly), many channels have fluid video and audio anyway. It's impossible to order satellites by position (any new added satellite is at the end of the list !!). Maybe there's no chance to add Oscam or other decoding system (I'm used to "play" with my Edision OsMio4K plus and Azbox Hd Premium+ with no problems). No audio and video bitrate available on the screen. No symbol rate interval for blindscan. I think, my old Clarketech 3100 was better. FOr sure GM is fast to change channel, good image, but NO UHD !! What about RAMF software....... incredible, detailed, full of options, maybe I would like to have the chance to use it with my pc on WIndows, not only Android. The spectrum span is changeable only after created the report, not before. I would like to have a spectrum with the frequencies below and the span selectable in real time.
Those are my considerations at the moment, but I will keep using it more time......
 
Am like a duck out of water with this ain't got a clue what am doing. Shame like above with adding the sat lists , deleted sats beyond 52.0e . Added missing sats .
I see on the RAMF manual it shows satellite lists to dl and install.
Once I get to grips with using the app as I know my dish needs realigning slightly west.

i believe it defaults to 5150 LNB setting, when you add a sat - you have to change it to UNIVERSAL LNB

I would prefer a larger Wattage (VxI) when running something that drives its own main circuitry and tuner, when connected to any outside switchgear, a motor, LNB, CA card and USB stick).

In colder, damper weather I doubt a 1A supply is going to be happy delivering a stable 12V, driving a 1m dish with everything above.

Just started connecting the other connector (Belling Lee) to kit and there is an option to power an external amplifier.
Add that to the list of potential power drains.

Keep at it..................the RAMF app really helps with alignment.......we here are fringe and the app has helped greatly to check 28.2ºe U.K. spot beam and especially now with the 10B changes.

Scans in Freesat, OK, sound but no pictures unfortunately..
 
I have Crystal Palace scanned in, no issues (though I'm not expecting channels to be in the usual order)

I scanned Sutton Coldfield in OK. Last time they scanned in but no picture. Mind you, reflashed the software and factory reset since then..
 
Been on the roof with the app and moved dish until signal hit 14.0 that was the max I could get tp 12418 with al Jazeera and the same with Galaxy 4 ,

ok this should be the report of the satellite or the frequency you selected. Can you make a report of the complete satellite with all the scan information and post it here? The device should be capable of this. Thank you

Twas the 1.28 xRU. I always had sound but no picture..odd it now works. Must have needed a reflash..
