Does anyone on this firum have the MAX s8 pro card? I am looking for someone to test oif the multistream
on 12606V (stream 4) at 5.0W can be received with this card, either on windows or on linux.

Max S8 based on MXL584
Max S8X based on STiD135

Crazycat,
Then I mean Max S8X based on STiD135.

the above mux cannot be received on tbs6909x, also not with your latest streamreader drivers. Other muxes work.
So I would like to know if the provlem also occurs on Max S8X, to know if the problem is in the drivers or in the chip.

This is what crazyscan sbows. With other programs (ebspro and neumodvb) I can get more results: correct symbolrate and parameters, and 2 streams, but neither of them works.

Reception is fine. The problem is specific to the stid135 cards. Other cards work on this mux (in neumoDVB. Did not test crazyscan).
Parameters of the mux can be found on kingofsat.net.

I also cannot get vlc to work with crazyscan or ebspro, but that is another problem.

And here are the results with neumodvb on a bigger dish. stream 4 produces no data at all.
Stream 5 produces some data (so a PAT can be found and the t2mi stream can be seen but is corrupt),
but a comparison with other cards shows that a lot of data is missing.

Both streams work fine on non-stid135 cards.

I hope the video will help you configure Crazyscan, VLC, TranEdit, and 4T2 Content Analyzer.

The problem is that this does not work... vlc starts but does not show any result. This is with a cleanly installed crayscan

for linux module option:
options stid135 ts_nosync=1

for windows & StreamReaderEx-BDA option in streamreader.ini:
TSNoSync=1

That, which is also suggested by TBS, does not work for the problem on 12606V, but I think I may have found the problem, which is elsewhere.

Maybe you were answering about the problem "why does vlc not work with streamreader on muxes that can be tuned (like 12585H)". Indeed this starts working after the tsnosync=1 on windows. Or it is a coincidence.
