Solo una domanda: per ottenere la ricezione della banda C a 10°E (principalmente nelle nazioni africane), che dimensione di parabola sarebbe consigliata nel sud della Francia?
Ricevo la TV delle Comore in Ku abbastanza facilmente.

C band transmissions on these satellites are NOT designed for expat viewers. C-band in Africa is more for punching through tropical rainstorms where loss of signals would be extreme at Ku band frequencies.

If the channels had much interest in expats they would make their transmissions available via internet delivery these days

Just a question:to get C band reception of 10°E (African nations mainly) which size dish would be recommended ,in South France?
I get Comores TV in Ku fairly easily.

I scanned yesterday Eutelsat 10B at 10.0E with 1.50m antenna and Mediastar 5G LNB.

I don't know if the C-band reception in my area is also available in South France. But anyway, your chances are better to receive African channels because you are geographically closer to the African beam.

I still think that the signal and transponders that you see on my spectrum (below) will encourage you to try.

I am convinced that if I/you tried my 1.50 antenna in your area, I am sure I/you would easily receive all the transponders of this satellite.

It looks like Viva Zap Internacional on 12.736 V switched to another beam ... or increased the power significantly (4 dB stronger).

Unfortunately back to a different beam, not receivable here anymore.

Thanks!! much too big ,given the ususal high winds we get in many places around both equinoxes!!!
240 would mean building a bunker around the dish(with open top)
or a concrete dish maybe?
