please how do I set the crazy scan to be able to receive a tp on 42 east 13494 H
I tried but I can't
I'm using a normal megasat lnb and with this I can find the tp on 26 east 10491 H, I would like to try to hook this tp on 42 east, if my lnb can let it pass
thanks

You have no chance. With the CrazyScan settings for frequency extension, I only get up to 12900 MHz.

thank you for the info, too bad I had hoped since I was able to get to 10490 on the 26 east I thought it was possible to get even beyond 13000

I have a flange LNB from BWEI in China. The downside to these cheap LNBs is the harmonics from strong transponders in the high band. On 42 East, I see some transponders in the 13400 to 14000 MHz range that come from the normal high band. You just have to live with that.

with this lnb can you scan the 42 east and find the tp?

The two dual linear transmissions that were on 13.492 H&V have not been seen for about two weeks now, just checked now and they are still missing - at my central UK location .
A few of us have used some fairly inexpensive Extended Ku lnb's with LO at 11.80GHz to trial out any of these extended frequencies and are or was obtained from the BWEi company.

I found this lnb online on the A......s site, for now I'm on holiday then we'll see in autumn if we can get one of these

Hi @anto, can you show us the link that shows the Extended lnb - there is also an Extended Ku lnbf that uses a higher rx band of 13.700 upwards and with a different LO setting so didn't want you to get the wrong one.

this is what i found, if you can't put the link i ask the moderators to delete
thanks

Ok thanks , that is not the one you want.
When i needed a replacement for the one i had i couldn't find the 13.4 to 13.65 GHz lnbf model on-line and i had to contact BWEi company direct and they sent me the correct model.

Theoretically, you can try to set the upper limit in streamreaders.ini to:
Code:
IFStart=290
IFStop=2900
I don't know if it's dependent on the card used, but the limits for my card are 700 and 2500.
What can be reached at 13500 MHz, but as mentioned above LNB works up to about 12900 MHz.
Similarly, you can try the lower limit.
This is used in Wideband LNB (290-2340 MHz), but only some cards also have a suitable tuner for these LNB.

thank you for the moment I'm on vacation and I'll be back in 10 days then I'll try

just a naive question. Once i have downloaded crazyscan,what am I supposed to do with it? feed it to my sat receiver via usb stick?
And are some download sites better than others?
