hi im using an old red Sky card (CAID 0960) in my Vu+ Duo 4K SE for the encrypted free to view channels which works well. i know theres not many left but has anyone got a list of all the free to view channels ?

thanks

thanks is only one i could find tbh, just wondered if was anymore

London TV took over from London Live so it's not as interesting any more as it mainly shows Judge Judy all day from True Crime and evening shows from Legend. Both channels are FTA anyway so I don't see the point of doing that other than the obvious reason (cost).

theres two one hour news casts at 8am & 1pm going by the EPG but everything else is as you said just simulcasts

The same as our, so called, local TV channel Liverpool TV.

dont know if it still does but before i moved from Sheffield, Sheffield! Live showed local programs in evenings, including old Sheffield Cablevision programming rest of time was a simulcast of their radio station with a static screen. it was also free to air on Virgin Media up until i moved in 2022 (maybe it still is ? not sure)

Yeah, they have to fill in the gap between the local news, but why use channels we can all already get on Freeview and FTA satellite? At least London Live made a few other programmes and showed old shows that were not being shown elsewhere.

In my case a Sky FTV card is useful to watch Legend via London TV in Finland because it's on a European beam whereas the proper Legend channel is on a UK spot beam. Not that I particularly want to watch Legend that much, but I could if I wanted. :p
