New toy - Jaegar SMO36

Progress is slow but I got my bracketry and post galvanised recently. I also realised that I needed a part for elevation control. I used a stainless steel box section to create one.

@RimaNTSS's eyeloop bolt destined for the 1224 got used here instead.

The frame for the SMO36 is finished and ready to take the also finished mount for the Laminas dish. Installation day tomorrow as it's the last day of sunny weather for the foreseeable.

Have you been sacrificing IRTE feed arms ?

I am not convinced the motor is strong enough to support it properly in the exposed area - the Laminas is less than half the weight of the CM. Also, the CM is a pain to mount due to sheer weight and size (and I am a weekling).

Oh yes, it's definitely a two man lift. Have you re-sited the Laminas? I think you mentioned some houses going up?
 
The Laminas is going up in the same spot. It's the only one available really. The houses stuff is with High Court of appeals at the moment, so I still have a couple of years before they start popping up.
