My Satellite Setup
Technisat [ TechniBox HD VA ] Receiver for TNT SAT reception
Dual LNB set up for Astra 19.2 & Hotbird Satellite 13 degrees
My Location
East Cheshire
Hello ,
I have recently acquired a Technisat Digit isio S2 Sat receiver but I am currently having a problem with no signal.
I'm attaching a few screen shots to illustrate the problem , my set up is a 75 cm dual LNB for Astra 19.2 and Hotbird 13 degrees.

My other Technisat receivers are all working fine so I know that it isn't a loose cable issue.

I may be missing something that is obvious to somebody else reading this but any advice that you can offer would be appreciated.
I have tried scanning both satellites but I am unable to obtain a signal from either.

As I understand your post, you have a 6 degree monobloc LNB for 13 and 19 east, how many outputs does it have and how is the signal distributed to the satellite receivers, plus how many do you have and run at the same time? PS, no pictures attached.
 
Does the tuner port on the rear panel secure ?

I've had to re-solder the threaded part back on the can on a couple of small receivers in the past

Thanks for the reply , when you say the tuner port do you mean the 2 LNB sockets , if so they're both secure and not loose.

Thanks for your reply , not sure why my screen shots didn't flow over. I have tried both LNB outputs but no joy.
I am only using one receiver at a time.

My experience with Technisat receivers is that they require firmware upgrades to clear down issues, though you might find a factory reset helps in the first instance

In your second photo where it says LNB type: User LNB, if you select it what are the options? Also the same for LNB configuration: Proceed.

When I select LNB there is a choice of Standard LNB , User defined and Multi Antenna , so when I choose Standard LNB and click on proceed the screen then changes to LNB Configuration so I was wondering if they require any adjustment to the values shown?
When I then click proceed the screen changes to a Test transponder where you can enter frequencies , I've been on to Lyngsat and King of Sat to enter various transponder freqs but no joy.
If I change the Choice of LNBs from Standard to User defined you get the same screens.

Standard LNB should be correct I think. Looking at the manual multi antenna seems to be for a twin output LNB.

In the antenna configuration what are your settings? I think it should be:
Multytenne: Off
DISEqC: On
Antenna Signals: 1

The LNB should be connected to input 1.

Thanks for the reply , I will double check tomorrow as I am not at home at the moment.

Can you measure a voltage at your LNB-cable?
If not, did you try a cold re-start of the receiver (and did that bring a voltage)?

I have tried 2 factory resets but this didn't make any difference , I even changed my LNB Extension lead just in case the problem was the lead.
My other Satellite receivers are both working fine so this particular receiver has obviously developed a fault.
 
And can you measure a voltage at your LNB-cable?
