Not sure if it helps you with your requirement but if you look in the VMA folder you have a great video pattern generator!

The VMA Video Pattern Generator only outputs to a PC screen. You can convert the HDMI output to SDI, using a cheap converter, which would be the normal use case. But it is not that easy to convert it into a TS, which you then would have to modulate to DVB-S/S2 if it is to test a receiver

hi vma !
does your software suite works with TBS USB box ?
or do i have to buy an pcie card ?

for pattern i just need a free channel to record an audio signal for testing some encoder-decoder .

VMA Stream Reader should work with all tuners supported by CrazyScan.

Feel free to download the VMA Video Analyser Package. You are eligible for a free license.

Tunisia on 26E has a few "test" channels, and a strong signal. Lookup Tunis 26E on Kingof sat
Also on 7W ,empty channels carry the color bars...
and the "Marqueur" channel too,7w or 8w

Here is a sample setup of the VMA Video Pattern Generator:

I am using a USB to HDMI adapter that goes to an external LCD monitor (Feelworld). It has an HDMI output port, which goes into a Blackmagic HDMI to SDI converter. From here it goes to the Harris Videotek CM91 and from there to the Hamlet Monitor Scope 9000.

I used this kind of setup to verify the generated test pattern. I found out that the USB HDMI converter outputs a higher brightness than the originally generated images, hence it is necessary to adjust the brightness slider from 127 to 45. Also, the signal has not the correct purity, which is visible in the vectorscope images, where the curves should be straight lines. This is not a fault of my software! It rather shows the (low) quality of the USB to HDMI converter.

With the HDMI output of my GeForce RTX4070 TI, the image is not perfect, either. That is because you can configure the graphics card output and the standard configuration (brightness, saturation, "game mode", HDR, etc.) all change the actual image output.

This is to say that handling a perfect image is not straight forward and this is the reason software like mine (VMA Video Analyser and VMA Pattern Generator) exist, along side with Waveform Monitors and Vectorscopes.

If you weren't able to find what you were looking for I recorded a plain 1080i colour bar test card yesterday, about one minute long with two different tones on separate audio tracks, I can upload it if you wish.
