Help Required Sky dish Astra 1

My Satellite Setup
Have a sky dish on my motorhome
My Location
Stratford-upon-Avon
Hi All.
Help needed please.
I own a motorhome and it has a astra 1 sky dish.
Many years ago I sent it off to irland to be modified. Basically there was another box soldered to it so it would work and has done all there's years.
What I have to do is search for astra 1 not 2 and this box then does the work and picks up astra 2 brilliant bit of kit it is.

Now this is my problem
Now when the satellite moves It doesn't pick sky up any more so I email this guy and very helpful to and he give me now coordinates and has done for many years now and still does

The latest coordinates are v11306 27500 and h11306 again 27500 but this time it not working my disk just does round and round very annoying.

Can anybody advise what to do or does anyone have different coordinates that will make my dish work?.

It's possible that the dish controller does not support DVB-S2, which most transponders on Astra 2 such as 11306 V 27500 now are. You could try changing 11306 V 27500 to 11264 V 27500 which is still DVB-S.
 
Certainly looks like the problem is the controller can only read standard definition signals. Those figures by the way, are not coordinates, but transponder frequencies, so the dish sweeps the arc until it sees them both. As Ozumo says above, change the Vertical transponder that is S2 (HD) to the closest similar Vertical DVBS transponder. 1784099739725.webp

Just out of curiosity how do you get this info from lol.

What is dvb s2 ? Please I have no idea.

As can be seen on rolfw's image, the second column on the Lyngsat page indicates if a transponder is DVB-S or DVB-S2. If the controller only supports DVB-S then 11264V 27500 could work.

If the dish can be moved manually with the arrow buttons, a simple 'sat beeper' with a rising tone that indicates signal strength could be fitted.

Hi

This sat bleeper could you kindly sent me a link on what to buy?.
So sorry I have no idea about theses its like you talking to me in Japanese lol.
And this bleeper how would I fit ot please.

So desu ne ;)

Something like this:

Disconnect the cable connected the LNB input on the receiver and screw it onto the LNB input of the meter. You will then need a short coax cable with F-connectors to connect it to the receiver. The stronger the signal the higher pitched the audio tone becomes. The small knob adjusts the sensitivity of the tone for fine tuning. Turning the knob all the way down should switch the tone off.

A satellite receiver with blind scan will also be useful as it will enable you to work out which satellite the dish is pointing at.

When you say at the lnb this the bit connected to the dish ?.
If so this might become a problem as my dish is bolted to the roof of my motorhome.

Or do I disconnect from the control unit in previous photo ?.

Here is my dish on my motorhome.

P.s after changing the number to what ever it was i now have a tv channel guide I didn't b4.
After a small adjustment moving the dish manually I now have sky working again for now.

After setting it to v11264 its very close not working till I have a small adjustment then bingo all working.

But just this second seen your H setting 11305.
In which its not thay so maybe if I set it to that it might work

Here is its currently setting.

I mean the the LNB input on the satellite receiver that connects to the television, I presume it goes satellite receiver -> dish controller -> LNB on the dish. The meter would go between the sat receiver and the controller.
