The difference between Dual and Twin LNBs

Well that's interesting, was fed up with Google AI incorrectly describing what a dual LNB is, compared to a twin, so I replied with a correction. I guess when AI researches for an answer, it simply goes wikth the most common findings, in normal non-technical language, dual and twin mean different things, like a dual usage tool, dual controls, similar but different, twin means identical. It had also been stating that a dual LNB was either the same as a twin, or was for receiving two different satellites, which was also incorrect from a technical standpoint.

I've had dialogues with Google AI (Gemini) as well, regarding offset satellite dish geometry calculations.
Regarding focal length calculations with a depth-measure at the center of the dish, instead of a depth measure at the deepest point.

It mixed up my equation with the John Legon equation, didn't know that the french had the Legon equation much earlier than Legon derived it, so was confabulating all sorts of things.

It will "admit" that you are right, but a next time it will give all sorts of incorrect information again, I found.

So, don't trust AI too much! (the motto: "Trust but verify")

Another experience: AI gave me a very detailed procedure to mend a broken rain water container. However, the links it mentioned did not describe such a procedure at all. So what to think of that, if it cannot even give a "source" for what it asserts?
