My Satellite Setup
Elite 2.2 PF with Multi lnb changer - CM1.2 - Gibertini 1.25.
Ku - Ka - Ext Ku - C & Ext C. X.
PC cards 6983,6903, main receiver GTX Combo. Ericsson RX8200.
Promax HDRanger+ & HDRanger2 Analysers.
My Location
North Nottinghamshire. UK.
Australian Dollar seems at a good point against our £Pound.....
Enquired to AV-Comm for the latest shipping costs to the UK ... see pic.
Tech support tells me barrel is not particularly sharp and should operate in Extended C-band 4.5-4.8GHz without any appreciable loss.
Awaiting final cost from Sales using "Standard" shipping but estimate around £186 total.

Couldn't tell you G, Net searching from years past seems to have fair comments about them, and i suppose, if AV-Comm use them as an economy route to circular and machine them to fit the barrel , they can't be all that bad ?? lol.

I have informed Sales that i have a present count of four (4) requiring units: ... Me, Captain Jack, S-Band & Moonbase and that i will contact him asap with a final amount required.

Is there anybody else wanting to put their name on the list, need to know by noon Tuesday to pass on the info to AV-Comm Sales and get the ball rolling whilst the Aus Dollar / GB Pound is at a good point.
My estimation for one unit inc shipping was about £186, multiple units shipped together could bring the cost down ??.

Ok, no more responses so will get the ball rolling for a total of four (4) AV-Comm C-band polariser barrel / Zinwell lnbf combination.
Current participants: Me, Captain Jack, S-band & Moonbase.

This info will now be sent to Garry @ AV-Comm in Sydney Australia for total price of 4 units inc shipping hopefully in a one-off shipment to the UK.
No doubt there will be a little stealth tax import tax imposed on us but should not amount to much.

Will report back once info received back from AV-Comm.
 
Yeah, ask him politely to price the package for just 1 or 2 LNBs... will keep import costs down.
 
Really you need them sending as 'Gifts' otherwise you get hit twice! Import duty, plus VAT which is unavoidable now even on gifted packages.

What a coincidence, i was looking at that about two hours ago lol.
Iv'e already modded my existing C-band stuff for skew using lnbf's and conventional lnb's on my polariser barrels and it really is a bonus to have.
Never had a Zinwell Cband lnbf like that before and yeah, i recon i will mod it for skew when they arrive.

Look forward to results and mods going to get back into C band not played with it for years, from memory something about the unit in this video
