RAI DAB+ feed from 5 West

For comparison ... E2 command & result:

RAI.webp

An error in MIS handling, which I could not test myself.

it works!!
...
Bravo!!!:-clap

What was the problem?
DAB RAI with DAB Launcher, as well as WSL Ubuntu 24.04 :Y
It seems to work more reliably with PLS Root 16416, at least in my case.

Is there any specific reason you are installing a 8 years (!!) old OS which had security updates only till 2023?

Yes. Using newer Ubuntu distributions (20.04, 22.04 or 24.04) will cause DABlin to have buffer under runs after about 1-2 minutes on my computer. Using 18.04 works fine. The same symptoms appeared on a different user. I don't know the reason.

Since this distribution is only used for the specific use with DABlin, I think that security issues are modest to none.

Could be also that, but i notice the same on 9E - Euro Dab, for example Rtl 102.5...I believe that the problem is not in the stream itself, maybe it would be recommended to adopt tsniv2ni,fedi2eti etc files.
I recently debated & solved similar problem on VMA DAB launcher with esteemed colleague VMA, the simptoms were almost the same and the problem lied in buffer overflow. Don't understand Linux much but if I understood right it was Ubuntu 24.04. causing it while older 18.04. works well.

Could it be our E2 problem caused by same phenomenon? If so, who can provide the fix?!

Surprise on 19E

In parallel to 23.5E
Thanks, @andymik, for the info; the stream parameters remained the same, including PIDs 4121 and 4122, IP and Ports. :Y
As expected, VMA DAB Launcher opens and runs the streams.

Request for Help with VMA DAB Launcher / Dablin_XDK
Hello everyone,
I would like to ask for some help regarding an issue I am experiencing.
My system configuration is:
AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7 (10 Compute Cores, 4C+6G)
8 GB RAM
WSL + Ubuntu 18.04
Omnicom tuner card

I have installed and updated all required packages, and I have compiled everything from source.
When I start VMA DAB Launcher, the tuner successfully locks onto the 10E multiplex, so the signal appears to be received correctly. When I launch Dablin_XDK, the application opens normally, but no audio or service starts.
I have tested the same setup with the same Omnicom tuner on another computer (Intel i3, 16 GB RAM), and it works perfectly there.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any idea what might be causing this problem on the AMD-based system? Are there any specific logs, settings, or diagnostics that I should check?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Let's check for a local version for RAI Aosta/Lombardia in the coming weeks on 5W, as they will separate from national mux starting in July.

There are 14 transmitters affected, but no idea if they also need the satellite feed.
