Hello,

Can you please help with extra equipment I need to make the most of this setup?
The most important is Box 1.
The red line is a cable which additionally supplies power to Moteck 2100 rotor. It is preferred to control the rotor using Box 1. All boxes are Mutant HD 51 with 2 single DVB-S2X tuners.
I understand I need some clever DiSEqC switches which can pass current to the rotor.
If it is a problem I can eliminate the terrestrial antenna.

Since you are using twin input tuners (as I have done before now) there should be no confict anywhere, apart from identifying which receiver drives the motorised dish, in which case you should turn off DiSEqC 1.2 continuous repeats on the other two.

For terrestrial just diplex out at each room socket

1 option:
Hello,
Thanks but it is very limited in functionality.
I want to run 2 cables from the multiswitch to each box. Before entering the box I want ro mix the signal from T90 dish with the signal from my motorized dish.
As far as I know now, I need at least 3 or perhaps 4 or 6 uncommitted DiSEqC switches. They are not so easily available though. Such as S2/1PCN-W1 from EMP-Centauri or something from Spaun.

How to turn off DiSEqC 1.2 continuous repeats on the other two receivers?
I use OpenPLi.

|f they are to be slave only receivers you can set up the fixed dish port to DiSEqC 1.0 only.

For the motorised port you could keep the 1.2 or usals commands on and ensure you are only using the fixed dish when trained on one of the steerable satellites. Repeat/continuous commands are usually set up within the same menu, depending on receiver..

The issue of overriding will only crop up if you are watching different channels on the secondary receivers and you change positions.

Hi

It's not possible (I think); I don't know of a switch (DiSEqC) that covers the frequency range from 300 MHz to 2350 MHz.
You want to combine 2 technologies (wideband and universal)!

DiSEqC switch S2/1PCN-W1 Frequency range 950 - 2300 MHz
LNB Inverto IDLP-WDB401 IF frequency range 300 ~ 2350 MHz

This won't be problem as the Johansson multiswich outputs SCR within the 950-2150MHz range.

I think you may be able to use splitters and two voltage switches, for example like this one:
Code:

However the LNB on the motorised dish would need to be changed to one that outputs SCR (or use an additional small multiswitch). Changing between the motorised dish and the multiswitch would done by having the receiver send 13v or 17v depending on which position is required. All positions would be available to each tuner.

The only issue I can think of is I don't know if you can have DiSEqC 1.2 and SCR at the same time.

I can draw some diagrams if you think this setup could work for you.

Sure, go ahead. Thank you.
I hope to finish my system in about 2 weeks' time so then I will know if motorised dish is indeed a problem.
For the future I might exchange the quad LNB for a quattro or wideband LNB for the motorized dish, if necessary to make it all work better.

On Amazon I found a six-way voltage switch called MS26 but it ships from China. The four-way version is MS24.

It would rely on the voltage switch being able to pass the SCR commands to the multiswitch. Only tuner 1 on receiver 1 would be able to move the dish.

Are your receivers able to access all four positions when directly connected to the multiswitch (in en50607 mode)?

Thanks.
I am still building the system so I can't confirm today but I see no reason why I wouldn't have access to all 4 positions from Johansson 9775 multiswitch.

The diagram on the first shows all receivers with two inputs.

Is this the correct detail ?

Whoever created the image in the opening post.

In your own time.

I did.
So I can confirm having 3 HD51 receivers with 2 single tuners each.
As far as I understand, I need uncommitted DiSEqC switches (1.1 or 2.1). New ones are not easy to find.
I am trying to get used ones.
